What is Globe Valve?

A globe valve is a device that controls the flow of fluids or gases in a pipeline by stopping, starting, or regulating it. Globe valves are named for their spherical shape and are one of the most common types of valves used today.

Globe valves are made with a globe like structure that has a plug inside it to open and close the circulation. The globe valves are different from the ball valves. The ball valves have balls that turn around to open and close the system while the Globe Control Valves have a plug that descents into the opening in the metal structure inside the body.
